Proposal Guidelines

You may be directed to this page following a call for R&D abstracts for the DEA(e) quarterly meeting.

R&D abstracts should be no more than one page of A4 and must be submitted electronically - most file formats are accepted. We would appreciate it if you could restrict file size to approximately 1Mb maximum.

R&D abstract submission is via file attachment on the on-line application form.

You can also email proposals to shreekant.mehta@otmnet.com - please ensure that they are no more than one page in length.

One page abstracts submitted to the DEA(e) should contain the following details:

• Organization name
• Contact name
• Contact details
• Proposal type: (R&D Proposal; Underused technology; “on the cusp” of commercial technology)
• Title of project
• Project:
• Objectives
• Deliverables
• Work scope
• Timescale
• Cost of project
• Current sponsors / partners
• Number of sponsors required

On submission, your abstract will be acknowledged by the association manager and evaluated by the DEA(e) steering committee. Organizations will be notified of those projects selected for presentation to the DEA(e) members.

Presentations are given in the presence of non-operators, therefore all material is considered non confidential.

Following the meeting, DEA(e) members have access to all project details (including presentation files) for future reference; DEA(e) members may contact R&D suppliers if interested in the research proposed. All presenters will receive feedback on their presentation.
